The operating agency, agent or passenger responsible for the group who has not filled out the reservation form on our website and made the reservation by email must send the following detailed information about all members of the trip to be made:

• Complete name
• Passport number
• Nationality
• Date of Birth (As it appears on the Passport)
• Tour start date
• Payment method you wish to use.

Once we approve your reservation (the response will arrive with a maximum delay of 6 hours, due to time changes in some countries). We will send you a reply with a booking code, details of the requested tour and a payment link. At that time, the booking will be a partial booking until we receive the client's payment deposit, which must be made no later than three days after receiving the confirmation and booking code. Bookings are guaranteed once the receipt of the deposit in our bank account is confirmed, otherwise we reserve the right not to recognize the booking made. At the time of making the booking, you must scan the document proving the deposit or transfer code.

Individuals We call individual reservations the amount less than or equal to 10 passengers; a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required at the time of booking and the other 50% five days before the start of the tour or in special cases up to 24 hours before the start of the tour.

Groups: We call group reservations the amount greater than 10 passengers, in the same way a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the reservation is required in advance and the other 50% 15 days before the start of the tour, or in special cases up to 2 days before the start of the tour.

Payments: Reservations can be paid and repaid up to 12 months before the tour begins with our company.

ARQUEOTREKKING PERU, reserves the right to cancel the reservation and apply administrative fees if the established deposits are not received on the dates provided by our company.

For all last minute individual and group reservations or those made less than 5 days before the start of the tour, the passenger, the operating agency and/or agent must pay 100% of the total amount of the reservation.

B. PAYMENTS THROUGH “PAYPAL”, THE SAFEST AND MOST RELIABLE METHOD OF PAYMENT IN MORE THAN 200 COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD.

This payment method has an 8% surcharge for interbank tax charges (US$ 100 + 8% = US$ 108.00 to deposit); For this operation, you must mention your payment preference when sending us the travelers' information, then we will send you a payment request through PAYPAL to proceed with the payment.

C. PAYMENTS BY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD.

This payment method has an 8% surcharge for interbank taxes (e.g. US$ 100 + 8% = US$ 108.00 to be deposited); if this is your choice, we will send you an email with a link that will take you to the VISA platform from where you will make the payment securely.

The other 50% or remaining balance must be paid in Cusco at most one day before starting the tour at the briefing, this in cash in Soles (According to the exchange rate of the day) or Dollars.

It could also be paid with any credit or debit card. (card payments are subject to an 8% interbank tax surcharge).

The client can cancel the reservation at any time, this must be issued in writing to our e-mail arqueotrekkingperu@gmail.com.

If the cancellation of the reservation is before one month of the start of the tour, only 40% of your contributions will be retained. (Non-refundable)If it is before 15 days of starting the tour, you will lose 60% of your contributions, not counting extra expenses such as shipping, bank withholdings and then you will lose 100% of your contributions. (these only apply to individual reservations)..

For group reservations made within 2 months of the tour, 50% of your contributions will be deducted. Before 1 month of the tour, 70% of your contributions will be deducted, and then you will lose 100% of what you have contributed. We recommend the use of travel and medical insurance for your safety. Insurance in Peru can be purchased from local and international insurance companies based in Lima.

We prefer not to get involved in providing this service because it is easier and cheaper to acquire it outside the country, that is, in your place of origin, however, we will gladly assist you if you wish to request it.

If a member of the group becomes ill or incapacitated, we will take care of him/her through a qualified doctor, the expenses must be borne by the client, including hospitalization and medication if necessary. In case of accident and/or emergency evacuation, all expenses will be covered by the client.

ABOUT THE INCA TRAIL TOUR:

• Permits for the Inca Trail are processed with the name and passport number, and cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances.
• Changing dates is also not possible once the permit has been purchased. These are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Please note that this is a regulation of the Peruvian government and not ARQUEOTREKKING PERU.
• In the extreme case that the Inca Trail is declared closed for security reasons, or is beyond our responsibility, ARQUEOTREKKING PERU will replace your excursion with an alternative route.
• If you book the Inca Trail tour with a Student Card, you must carry the original along with your passport during the hike. The Ministry of Culture staff will prohibit entry if the student card is not shown, a situation that will be beyond our responsibility.

If this is the case, the refund will be made directly to the payment method used by the passenger at the time of making the reservation payment, for example, if the passenger paid for their reservation using a Visa credit card, the refund will be made directly to that card.

For payments made via Western Union, we will make the deposit, but the shipping fee will be deducted.

We know the importance of your information, which is why our privacy policies are strict. ARQUEOTREKKING PERU will use this information exclusively to nominate reservation tickets. We never share this information with third parties. Your information is in good hands, we hate SPAM.

ARQUEOTREKKING PERU, reserves the right to modify any itinerary if really necessary, to safeguard the interests of our clients. We reserve the right to refuse, accept or retain any person as a member of any of our trips.

Luggage is the responsibility of the passenger throughout the trip. Likewise, we reserve the right to change some of our rates without notice, due to exchange rate or rate changes from supplier companies, e.g.: Train, Bus, Flights.

ARQUEOTREKKING PERU, acts only with the capabilities of AGENT under the legal conditions that in the exercise provide the necessary precautionary information.

Reason why, ARQUEOTREKKING PERU shall not be liable for damages, illness, loss, additional expenses, accidental delays or other irregularities that may be caused by negligent or intentional acts or omissions by supplier companies, related to transportation, accommodation or other services linked to the execution of the tourist program; or by natural disasters, social problems or acts of nature.

The company recommends obtaining the following types of insurance: Travel insurance, Life insurance for accidents or disability, Medical evacuation insurance.

The client accepts and grants to ARQUEOTREKKING PERU the right to use images, photos and videos during participation in any of our packages for any type of advertising, free of charge, upon prior acceptance at the start of the tour.

A. Acceptance and knowledge of our terms and conditions.

The terms and conditions set out below in this document are obligatory and binding. They apply to all bookings and activities made through our website, by email or face to face.

The use of any of these channels implies knowledge and acceptance of them.

B. Modification of the conditions of use

ARQUEOTREKKING PERU reserves the right to make changes or updates to our terms of use at any time. It is the responsibility of customers to review them.

• Respond clearly and accurately to responses and requests, such as forms you must complete with your assigned agent.
• Follow the team's instructions en route.
• Compulsory attendance at the briefings (if applicable), which are held before your tour, is essential to begin your on-the-road experience.
