After a few days in Cusco, the capital of the inca empire join us on the walk of SALKANTAY to the wonder of the world Machu PicchuThe best alternative route where you will find incredible landscapes, will take you to the impressive HUMANTAY Lagoon and the imposing SALKANTAY mountain through a fascinating cloud forest, then reach the edge of the Peruvian jungle, which makes this route more beautiful and interesting.

We begin the adventure by picking up our pax between 04:00 and 04:45 am. To go for 2 hours to the district of Mollepata. During our tour we will pass through the towns of Izcuchaca and Limatambo arriving at Mollepata at approximately 06:30 am. where we will have our first breakfast, then we will continue in our vehicle for 1 hour more to Soraypampa, where we will begin our first day of walking to the Humantay Lagoon, where we will appreciate the beautiful glacier and the lagoon that reflects this beautiful place, later we will return to Soraypampa and then continue walking for 1 hour more to our RUMI WASI camp (Salkantay Pampa) where we will have our restorative lunch and then a nap. In the afternoon you can explore the area that is surrounded by streams and also appreciate from different angles the impressive Salkantay snow-capped mountain then we will have tea time and dinner; We will spend the night in our Andean huts.
Early in the morning at approximately 6:00 am our cooks will wake you up with a cup of coca tea and then get your things ready, have breakfast and at 7:00 am start our second day of hiking to the Salkantay Pass (4620), the highest point on the entire route, where you will participate in a small coca leaf ceremony. Then you will descend for 2 hours to Wayracmachay where you will have lunch and then walk for 3 more hours to our Chawllay camp, where you will have tea time, dinner and then participate in a bonfire in honor of life (Andean stories), rest in the shelter of our Andean huts.
At 5:30 am our cooks will wake you up with a cup of coca mate then you will have to pack your things and you will also have breakfast, after breakfast the third day of walking will begin leaving at 6:30 am from Chawllay towards our Mayta Cápac camp, our descent will last approximately 6:00 hours and will be surrounded by fruit trees, coca plantations, cocoa. Upon arrival at our camp our cooks will be waiting for us with a restorative lunch, after a nap we will participate in the COFFEE TOUR, in the afternoon we will visit the Cocalmayo hot springs and finally we will return to our camp for dinner and then rest.
Early the next day at 6:00 am our cooks will wake you up with a cup of coca tea, then you will have breakfast and at 7:00 am the hike will begin, we will go up an Inca trail towards Llactapata for 3 hours, upon arrival you will enjoy a magnificent view of Machu Picchu and the mountains (APUS), then we will go down for 2 hours to Hidroeléctrica to have lunch and then continue with the hike for 3:00 hours to Aguas Calientes where our hotel is, where you can take a shower and get to know the town; dinner is scheduled for 7:00 pm in a restaurant in Aguas Calientes, in the same way after dinner we will begin with the preparation to visit the impressive lost city of the Incas (Machu Picchu).
Very early in the morning at 4:00 am we will have our breakfast or box breakfast, and then we will go to Machu Picchu. You can choose to walk or take the bus, depending on your physical condition. By bus it takes 25 minutes, but you have to buy the ticket in Aguas Calientes the night before, while walking takes 1 hour and 20 minutes. Either option is good. The idea is to arrive at 6:00 am and be one of the first groups to visit Machu Picchu. Once there, you will have a guide for approximately 2 hours. After exploring the long-awaited lost city of the Incas, you have the option of visiting Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. Passengers who return by bus must be at the Hydroelectric station no later than 3 pm, and then we will take them to Cusco for 6 hours. Passengers who return by train must be at the station 30 minutes before the departure of their train. Our transportation will be waiting for them in Ollantaytambo to take them to Cusco.
