Upon arrival in Cusco, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you from the Cusco airport. In the afternoon we will take the city tour. Pick up from the hotel will be between 12:30 and 1:00 pm. We will visit: The Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun was the most important religious construction during the Inca Empire, even years later this place leaves us amazed with its beauty. Learn more about this wonderful place. Sacsayhuamán characterized by the construction of cyclopean stones. Qénqo (labyrinth), where the “Sacrificial Hall” is located. Puka pucara is its name in Quechua for "Red Fortress", due to the red color that the rocks acquire. Tambomachay or Tampumachay (Quechua: tampu mach'ay, 'resting place'), consists of an archaeological site that was destined for the worship of water and so that the potentate of the Inca Empire could rest. At the end of our tour we will return to the city of Cusco, where we will disembark near the main square. Recommendations: Check your belongings before leaving the airport. Do not eat heavy meals. Drink coca tea. Bring a rain poncho (in the rainy season). Bring cash.
Our day will start with breakfast at the accommodation. Pick up from the hotel will be between 06:20 am and 7:00 am. We will visit: The archaeological center of Chinchero, an important Inca site Maras - Moray, Inca laboratory Salineras, supplies salt to all of Cusco As a last point of visit, the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo. At the end of our tour in Ollantaytambo we will go to the station where we will board the train to go to the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes they will be waiting to take you to your accommodation. This day will be our visit to Machu Picchu. In the morning we will have breakfast at the accommodation. Afterwards we will meet our guide according to the previously coordinated schedule. We will board the bus heading to the citadel of Machu Picchu The guided tour will take approximately 2 to 2 and a half hours, where we will be able to learn more about this wonderful place. Upon returning from the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will go to the train station that will take us to Ollantaytambo. Upon arriving at the Ollantaytambo station, transportation will be waiting for us to take us to the city of Cusco. Upon arriving in the city of Cusco, you will disembark near the Plaza de Armas Recommendations: Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Bring a rain poncho. Bring cash. 08:45 – 09:00 am. Pick up from your hotel (close to the main square of Cusco), or meeting point Plaza Regocijos or Plaza San Francisco. for the start of the South Valley tour. We begin the tour visiting TIPÓN, an archaeological center corresponding to the Inca period. We will go to PIKILLACTA, currently known as one of the most famous and best preserved cities of the pre-Inca period in Cusco – Peru. Finally, we will visit ANDAHUAYLILLAS, which is part of the Colonial Art Route of America due to its beautiful woodwork, beautiful paintings and colonial decorations. We return to the city of Cusco where our tour ends at approximately 1:00 p.m., thus ending this tour to the South Valley of Cusco. Recommendations: Long pants or comfortable clothing for the walk. Sunscreen, sunglasses. Windbreaker. Small backpack. Water bottle, personal snacks. Waterproof jacket/rain poncho. Warm jacket, hat and gloves. Hat. Sunscreen (factor 35 recommended). We start with the pick up from your hotel (close to the main square of Cusco), or meeting point in Plaza Regocijos or Plaza San Francisco, between 04:50 - 05:00 am. Then we will begin our trip for a distance of 2 hours from the city of Cusco until we reach the town of Cusipata. Cusipata is the place to have breakfast (semi buffet service). We will continue our trip for 1 hour until we reach the town of Chillihuani where we will begin our walk. The average time is 1 hour and 30 minutes as the time of ascent to the mountain. Once you reach the summit, the time for photographs is extended by approximately 25 minutes. We will begin with the walk down, it averages a time of 1 hour until we reach the original starting point, where the tourist transport will be waiting for you, to take us back to the town of Cusipata to have lunch (semi buffet lunch). After lunch, we will return to Cusco city on a 3-hour trip at approximately 5:00 p.m. Recommendations: Water. Rain jacket/poncho/long-sleeved shirt. Trekking shoes. Winter hat and gloves. Rain pants. Snacks. Sunscreen, SPF 35+ recommended. Sunglasses and sun hat. Camera with spare batteries – batteries work faster at high altitudes. Cash for emergencies and extras.
Our day will begin with the pick up from the hotel between 04:30 am and 05:00 am. We will head towards Cusipata where we can enjoy our breakfast, then we will board the transport that will take us to our second stop where we will begin the hike to the 7-color mountain. Our guide will be with you on this adventure, you will walk for approximately 2 hours at a brisk pace. When you reach the viewpoint of the mountain of colors, our guide will explain to you about the colors of this wonderful place. We will have 30 minutes to take our photos and return to the transport. We will have lunch in Cusipata. Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco and disembark near the main square. Recommendations: Bring sunscreen and a hat. Bring a rain poncho. Bring cash. Wear comfortable clothes for the walk. After breakfast and according to your flight time, the walking tour will take place. At the end, we will pick you up at the hotel 2 hours before your flight. NOTE: WITH PRIOR COORDINATION, a WALKING TOUR could be done, which consists of visiting the traditional streets of Cusco. Recommendations: Check your belongings before leaving the hotel. Have your flight tickets on hand.
